West Midlands Resource Reuse Network (WMRRN)

Our FREE West Midlands Resource Reuse Network aims to deliver cost and carbon savings for companies managing wastewater, sand and sludge waste streams by identifying reuse opportunities that divert the waste stream from disposal.

Locally-led Innovation Accelerators delivered in partnership with DSIT, Innovate UK and City Regions

More About The Project

Building on over two decades delivering industrial symbiosis services in the West Midlands, International Synergies Ltd (ISL) are delighted to announce that we will be continuing this service on behalf of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).

The West Midland Resource Reuse Network (WMRRN) is a regional, facilitated programme based on the WMCA’s core policy objectives highlighting the following waste steams: wastewater sludge, sand and metals. The WMRRN project enables ISL to provide support to companies managing these waste streams with the potential to generate impact including cost and carbon savings, new revenue streams, job creation, waste reduction, resource efficiency and social value creation.

ISL would be particularly interested in discussing opportunities with businesses from the food and drink, water utilities, construction, cast metal foundries, metal surface treatment, agriculture and battery production sectors.

Through a combination of site visits and events, ISL’s team of experts will assist businesses in the West Midlands region to identify and facilitate business opportunities to reduce these waste streams and deliver impact.
