Resource Matching Service for Northern Ireland (RMS)

Efficient management of business waste is more than just a compliance measure—it is a strategic opportunity to achieve significant cost and energy savings. Our Free Resource Matching Service is designed to help businesses unlock this potential by identifying innovative ways to reuse and repurpose underutilised resources.

More About The Project

This unique service connects organisations across Northern Ireland, facilitating the transfer of business waste, by-products, and unwanted materials so they can be reused, recycled, reprocessed, or repackaged by others. By doing so, businesses can reduce their reliance on virgin resources, cut down on waste disposal costs, and even generate additional income from materials previously considered as waste.

The benefits extend beyond individual organisations—this service drives collaboration, reduces environmental impact, and fosters a more sustainable, circular economy where resources are kept in use for as long as possible. Fully funded by the UK Government and managed by Invest NI, this FREE service is open to all Northern Ireland businesses committed to achieving greater efficiency and sustainability.
