Desk based analysis of energy intensive sectors and industrial zone data to identify decarbonisation opportunities for Uzbekistan through industrial symbiosis and energy efficiency.

ISL are responsible for the following tasks:

• To conduct symbiosis assessment/preliminary sectoral screening for industrial symbiosis potential
• To conduct granular assessment of the identified synergies/technical analysis
• To design a focused national level program that have scale or aim for scale up and business models and scenario and simulations of energy, GHG and economic net benefits
• To develop a deployment strategy in selected economic zones that will look into specific recommendations to promote industrial decarbonisation considering local policy, planning, and regulatory aspects.
