International Synergies Ltd appoints new Product Manager

30th January 2024

International Synergies Ltd (ISL), has appointed Robert Howard in the role of Product Manager to help ISL meet the growing market demand for its award-winning SYNERGie® platform.

The appointment aligns with ISL’s growth strategy for SYNERGie®, a resource matching platform delivering carbon and cost benefits for companies around the world, by enabling identification and advancement of resource reuse opportunities. SYNERGie® has already been translated into eight languages and holds details on over 100,000 resources from over 30 countries. Its unique Advisor function identifies potential resource reuse opportunities for waste, by-product and other underutilised assets such as equipment and capacity.

Robert will be focused on building long-term strategic relationships with ISL clientele, and ensuring the client’s voice informs the development of SYNERGie® as a bespoke product that helps clients save cost and carbon through waste avoidance and input substitution.

Robert joins ISL after 7 years at the Access Group where he held the role of Associate Product Manager / Senior Business Analysis for Construction. He has over 15 years’ experience as a product professional having previously worked for easyfundraising, OLM Systems and Espirit Ltd.  Robert will be part of the Operations Team, led by ISL Chief Operating Officer Ian Humphreys.

Robert Howard stated:I am very excited to join International Synergies. There is a massive opportunity here to save organisations a vast amount of money, while making a colossal improvement to their environmental impact. I have a wide experience of building successful software solutions across different sectors, and I am looking forward to working with ISL’s clients.”

Chief Executive Rachel Lombardi stated: “we are delighted to welcome Robert to the business where he will help bring ISL’s vision for SYNERGie® to fruition. Alongside his excellent product management skills, Robert’s experience in the construction sector is an added bonus as this is a sector ISL has worked closely with for many years.  His first task is to prepare SYNERGie® for use by companies in the greater Birmingham and Solihull area.”
