We at International Synergies (ISL) are thrilled to announce that we participated in the Solihull Sustainability Visioning Group (SSVG) meeting on 20^th July 2023.

This initiative, convened by the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) and chaired by Jaguar Land Rover, brings together industry leaders to drive sustainable growth and development in the region.

The SSVG includes esteemed organisations such as Birmingham Airport, Jaguar Land Rover, ARUP, NEC Group, and Sustainability West Midlands. Together, we are committed to fostering a circular economy and integrating sustainable practices into the business and public sectors alike.

This insightful virtual session, delved into the concept of the circular economy and its integral role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The session’s primary focus was exploring Industrial Symbiosis as a mechanism for delivering scope 3 reductions.

ISL are particularly excited to have taken the virtual stage for a 20-minute presentation on industrial symbiosis. Chief Operating Officer, Ian Humphreys, shared our insights, expertise, and the potential of this mechanism to aid in achieving sustainable economic growth.
